We bring people together to create action plans for communities at the city and neighbourhood scales. We ensure that the right skills – from urban design and economics, to movement and culture – are applied, creating place-specific visions and plans. We show how these can be embedded in local authorities’ policies and working methods.

The charter sets out a 5-10 year vision for the community and the local environment. Developed through a series of evening meetings and a two-day charrette, the process led to the creation of a Town Team, made up of local people committed to improving the area.
The themes of the Harlesden Town Charter include beauty, civic life, movement, community, economy, social issues and green action. After being agreed and signed off by the community, the charter has been handed over to the local authority, where it is helping to influence decisions and priorities for the area.
